Don’t be fooled by the name, they’ll cut any hair: white, asian, hispanic, not just afro. T gets me right every time in about 20 minutes, not much talking, but that’s not why you’re here, you’re here to get a great cut. I’ve been to many barber shops over the years and none come close. Try to walk in during the early afternoon for shorter wait times.
They squeezed me into their tight schedule for a haircut even though he was really busy
Barber "T" does such a fantastic job on my son's cuts. I took my 7 year old son there last night for a cut and T knocked it out of the park. We had not been there in awhile and the space was more streamlined and open than previous, giving a classy look. His prices are affordable, the space is cozy and friendly, other customers are always polite. I feel safe and comfortable as typically the only woman waiting in the barber section. I will for sure be bringing my son back to see T for his next cut. The pics are before and after from last night.
Afro Barbershop is fantastic! The hair braids are always on point. I came with my sister, and we’re never disappointed. Merry and Kulani always do a great job. The place is super clean, and the crew is friendly and welcoming. They also do amazing braids, twists, and locs. I highly recommend everyone to go over there—you won’t be disappointed!
A great African barbershop on the Shoreline/Seattle border. They prefer walkins, but it's never too busy, usually 4 or 5 people but they cut pretty fast. Very skilled barbers. Cuts are only 35 which is amazing in 2023. Highly recommended!

I always get my braids done at this hair salon, and i’m super impressed with their knowledge and artistry. The stylist went above and beyond my expectations in producing complicated, exquisitely fashioned braids. The personnel was polite and competent, and the salon had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I walked out of there with my new braided hairstyle feeling confident and content. I heartily urge anyone searching for excellent braiding services to check out this establishment.
